BP & ODDS prepare the world for the boom bap novelists’ full-length debut “The Medium”

As Hiphop naturally explores new dimensions of sound, refreshingly, BP & ODDS bring listeners back in a way that pays homage to, upholds tradition of, and adds their own flavor atop honest Hiphop music from the soul. Boom bap: not a common phrase used when talking about hiphop out of Los Angeles, describes the sound, vibration, and overall philosophy of BP & ODDS' music; speaking to the emphasis placed on beats and rhymes. In the fashion of EPMD, Pete Rock and CL Smooth, and Gang Starr to name a few, BP & ODDS look to add to the collection of prolific producer/MC duos with their brand of original hiphop music.

This is evident in the features they have lined up for "THE MEDIUM". El Da Sensei of Artifacts fame and Insight join BP & ODDS on the songs "Time is Change" and "The Return", respectively.

BP & ODDS not only strive for perfect recordings, they are dedicated to giving intense performances on stage and making sure their live shows are always accurate with sound. Their performances, which feature live MPC instrumentation and precise MCing, are sure to please any crowd. They even press up dub plates for performances to keep the sound optimum and vinyl-quality.

"THE MEDIUM" is BP & ODDS' debut full-length album: the follow-up to their EP "the Hi's and Lo's". The album is set to drop October 27th, independently with the help of Bloodbath clothing, Beat Swapmeet, and of course BP & ODDS' core supporters. THE MEDIUM refers to the method of delivering their message in hiphop form and metaphorically painting a blank canvass with their musical brand of vivid paint. Being referred to as the boom bap novelists, BP & ODDS deliver raw hiphop music, looking to an era when originality and skills in crafting beats, rhymes, and cuts were the most important tenets of being dope.
