A conceptual album, “THE GRADIENT” features 6 songs of gritty drums as the vehicle, a multi-synthesized soundscape, illustrious basslines, rhymes and cuts; all inspired by Buttonpusha’s witnessing Aurora Borealis while living in Alaska.
“THE GRADIENT” refers to a blending of 2 extremes: in this case, gritty-raw drums blended with spacy, synthesized sounds. The amalgamation of these energies along with precise rhymes and cuts create a refreshingly relaxed, contemplative vibration suitable for a wide range of musical palettes.
